Christina Kardon, Executive Director
Christina Kardon is the Executive Director of the Save A Mind Foundation. Since joining SAM in 2012 Christina has developed fundraising events, assisted in community outreach, and coordinated both SAM program committees and the SAM board of directors. Christina’s professional experiences in New York, NY and Baltimore, Maryland has enabled her to develop the skill set required to oversee SAM’s budget, supervise and guide staff, and aid in fundraising initiatives. Christina earned her degree at Elon University in North Carolina with a focus in Sociology and Education. Christina was born in North Africa, where her parents developed education programs. Christina now resides in Philadelphia, PA.
Erika Davidson, Finance Director
Erika began working with Save a Mind Foundation in February 2015. In her role, Erika has supported the team in budget development as well assisting determining long term financial planning.
Erika was born in the in Philadelphia area and grew up in Bensalem. She studied at Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts where she earned both a degree in International Business as well Hospitality and Event Management. Later she went on to earn an additional bachelors degree in Accounting as well as a Master’s Degree of Business Administration. Erika’s work experience has been quite varied exposing her to a number of different business models including the Disney Corp at Walt Disney World Orlando, internet commerce companies and accounting firms.
Erika now resides in Blue Bell with her family.
Mario Gutierrez, Program Director
Mario is a former teacher leader that joined Save A Mind in 2013 to continue his interest in improving education from outside the classroom. He recently completed the intensive Fundraising and Philanthropy program at NYU and moves forward in making Win/Win a successful and continually expanding program for students, teachers and administrators.
Christopher Steinmeier, Ed.D., Educational Consultant
Chris recently completed his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and has spent a decade teaching and working with students in multiple educational settings. He joined Save A Mind in 2009 as a member of the research team that created Win/Win.
Judy Lechner Brody, Ed.D., Educational Consultant
Dr. Brody is an award winning former teacher, principal and assistant superintendent in urban and suburban schools who headed up the research team that created our Win/Win program. She served as Save a Mind Foundation’s previous Executive Director. At the Penn Graduate School of Education she created and served as director of an innovative model to develop aspiring school leaders, where she continues to teach in the program.
Maddie Franzreb, Communications & Development Coordinator
Maddie became Product Manager of Ultimark Products in 2012, and previously spent three years working in communications and marketing for a skin care company in France. Education is a cause close to her heart and she has volunteered for a number of different youth organizations over the years.
